DOES IT WORK? YOUBETCHA! A 5 star review written April 29, 2011 by TomPer and found helpful by over 130 Amazon customers.
…I positioned the MOHU near the top of my living room window and did a scan. I still get the same channels as with the amplified antenna but now all stations are PERFECT! I don’t believe it!! If you are a skeptic, don’t be. Order one and give it a try. This thing looks like a sheet of black/white paper laminated between two sheets of plastic but it works like a modern-day miracle! Best of all, it’s MADE IN THE U.S.A.! I wholeheartedly recommend this product 110%.
Amplified ideal antenna for cord cutters, written February 1, 2013 with updates through March 10, 2015, is my 5 star Amazon review of the Mohu 50.
I’m still blown away by how well this Mohu antenna’s 50 mile range pulls in over air channels at my rural location, and happy that this review which includes a video of its operation in my home, has been found helpful to over 1,500 Amazon shoppers.
…The over-air HD channels I’d been hoping I could pull in from 43 miles away, through mountains, were now mine without being hooked up to cable! Crystal clear reception on all available HD channels, with no dropped signals or pixilation. Truly amazing!…
Written April 8, 2015 this 5 star review by J. T. Gross “gadget hound” Quick Setup, Works Great illustrates the Leaf Metro’s ease of setup and use.
…I needed to get the OTA networks for sports after cutting cable. It’s a bit wider than it would seem from the pictures, but very light and easy to handle. Setup is a breeze. Just connect the coax cable to the bottom of the antenna and to the tv, set the tv to antenna mode or whatever it is for your model (TV input on my Samsung), run the channel scan and you’re set…it took me about 2 minutes from opening the box to watching tv…the quality of the picture I get with this thing is outstanding, and it’s sensitive enough that it’ll pick up the channel more or less no matter where i put it. …If you’re looking for an OTA antenna, this is definitely a good choice.
Fantastic Reception written by Sharilew on June 29, 2014 praises the Curve 30’s ability to provide excellent picture quality.
…I decided to research indoor antennas and after reading the reviews, I ordered one Mohu Curve 30 to test it. I hooked it up, put it on a shelf in the entertainment unit (behind a picture), made sure the TV setting was on antenna, ran a search and got 135 stations (most of which I don’t care about) but I did get all the network and PBS channels. The picture reception is fantastic, better than I ever got with cable! Needless to say, I’m thrilled! I’ve dumped Time Warner and ordered 2 more Mohu Curve 30’s for the other TV’s. I’ve finally cut the cable cord!!! (FYI – I’m a 65 year old female living about 25 miles from downtown Los Angeles and I am minimally tech savvy.)
Works fantastically for us in the midst of Manhattan — we never got OTA reception until now! This 5 star review written on Februrary 14, 2014 by an Amazon Customer illustrates the powerful technology found in the Curve 50 antenna.
I am thrilled with the Mohu Curve 50! For the first time, we are getting TV channels over the air! We’ve been living on the ground floor of a 6 story brick building for many years, and we are at the back of the building, facing towards an interior courtyard in the middle of the block, amidst many tall buildings (upper West Side, NYC). Consequently we never could receive any channels at all — I mean, zilch, despite the fact that we’re in the middle of NYC and channels were broadcasting all around us….With trepidation, we ordered a Mohu Curve 50. Setup was super easy, the antenna is attractive, but best of all, it brings in almost all the broadcast channels available in this area — beautifully — on our small HDTV….
Superior product & performance! A 5 star Amazon review by K. Tate written on March 16, 2015 suggests the Sky 60’s range may be even better than expected.
…Took about 10 minutes to install and fire up the TV and OMG…I pulled in over 50 channels! I know the documentation says it is rated for a 60 mile radius, but I am picking up channels in Greensboro, over 80 miles away. And because the antenna is multi-directional, no adjustments are necessary. I just couldn’t be more pleased with the performance of this product. You know they say, you get what you pay for. Well, if you are looking for an antenna that will allow you to cut the cord with great piece of mind, this is the one!
