Cordcutter’s Guide to the 2019 Women’s World Cup

June 12, 2019

The 2019 Women’s World Cup is underway, meaning it’s time for nonstop soccer action all month long! Yesterday, Team USA made history with their 13-0 win over Thailand. And there’s still more excitement to come! Luckily for those without a Pay TV subscription, there are several ways to tune into World Cup coverage.

What: Women’s World Cup

Where: FOX live broadcast, streaming on FS1 and on the Fox Sports App

When: June 7 – July 7

Watch with an Antenna

With FOX broadcasting the biggest matches, you can watch most of the World Cup with an antenna. An antenna gives you access to over-the-air channels, including major networks like FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, and more – all for FREE! That means you’ll be able to tune into major live sporting events, like the Women’s World Cup, and enjoy tons of OTA content without paying a monthly fee.

Stream the World Cup

World Cup matches are streaming on FS1 and the Fox Sports App. If you’re in an area for live TV streaming, you can also stream via FOX. Here are a few live streaming options:

YouTube TV

For $49.99 a month, you can get YouTube TV and enjoy access to channels like FOX, Telemundo, and NBC Universo.

Hulu with Live TV

Hulu with Live TV is available in many areas for $45.99 with access to FOX and FS1 live streams.

fuboTV

fuboTV is a tad more expensive at $54.99 but includes access to FOX and FS1 in several markets.

Full Schedule

The World Cup matches are from June 7 to July 7. The Group Phase runs from June 7 to June 20. The Round of 16 will be June 22 to June 25 with the Quarterfinals starting June 27 and ending June 29. The semifinals are scheduled for July 2nd and 3rd. And the World Cup finals will be July 6 and 7!
