Thursday Night Football in November is going to be amazing. Thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday, we will get access to 6 Thursday Night Football games across a 4 week time period; all available on major broadcast networks (NBC, FOX, CBS).
Here’s a look at the games you’ll see on Thursday Night Football (and Thanksgiving) in November.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals, NBC, 8:25 PM
Looking at recent history, the Cardinals appear to have Seattle’s number – winning 2 out of the last 3 matches. But if you dig a bit deeper you find that those wins were by razor thin margins; and the very last time they met in 2016, the Seahawks absolutely dominated. Couple this with Wilson’s poor performance last week, and I think we can expect the Seahawks to come out blazing hot in this redemption game.
Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, NBC, 8:25 PM
Playing each other for the first time since 2014, the Tennessee Titans will look to edge out the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Titans have beaten the Steelers the last three times they have played, but a lot has changed in three years; and simply based off of the league rankings, the Titans will have their work cut out for them. Will this be the week big Ben gets Martavis Bryant involved? I hope so… kid deserves the chance.
Nov. 23 – Thanksgiving Day
Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions, FOX, 12:30 PM
The Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings will be kicking off annual Thanksgiving festivities with the first game of the day on FOX. Last year when they met, the Lions were able to escape by the skin of their teeth; winning by just a field goal. Will Minnesota’s high flying WR duo be enough to tame the explosive Lions? Can’t wait to find out.
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Dallas Cowboys, CBS, 4:30 PM
Next up in the annual NFL bonanza, the Chargers will mark their first Thanksgiving Day game since 1970 when they face off against the Dallas Cowboys. There’s going to be a lot of interesting match-ups for this game; Prescott vs. Rivers, Elliot vs. Gordon, etc… Odds-makers are expecting this to be a high scoring game, so get ready for a shootout.
New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins, NBC, 8:30 PM
For the first time in franchise history, the Washington Redskins will get the chance to play on Thanksgiving Day at home. For this memorable match-up, the will face their old rival, the New York Giants.
Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys, NBC, 8:25 PM
Rounding out a a great month of NFL football, we’ve got a showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins (yes, both teams play on Thursday two weeks in a row). In two out of the last three meetings, the Cowboys have won by less than a touchdown. With somewhat evenly matched teams, this game could go either way and might just boil down to whoever has the most momentum going in.
