Do you love college sports? Soon your antenna will give you more games than ever thanks to a new OTA network called Stadium.
Recently the Sinclair Broadcasting Group, the largest owner of over-the-air TV networks, became part owners of a new sports network called Stadium. Together with their partners MLBAM, NHL, the PGA TOUR, and Time Inc., Sinclair is going to start broadcasting more college sports free over the air than ever before.
Stadium is comprised of staff from Campus Insider, 120 Sports, and the American Sports Network. This new network will not only stream online, but multiple games every Saturday will broadcast for free over the air.
Not only will you get regional and national games on ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC this season, but Sinclair plans to start broadcasting regional games from leagues such as the C-USA, Mountain West, Patriot League, and the Southern Conference.
Sinclair will also stream over 2,500 college games including men’s and women’s basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, and football over the next year on a new 24/7 streaming channel launching this month.
Live, weekdays at 4 p.m. ET “Inside the League” features comprehensive team-by-team coverage from across the NFL. It’s hosted by two-time Super Bowl Champion Bryant McFadden and veteran sports anchor Dave Ross. The 30-minute show brings you timely news and in-depth football analysis plus all the latest viral football content.
Get exclusive access, insider reports, the latest recruiting news, and unique student-athlete features from colleges across America. Hosted by Ray Crawford, a variety of guest insiders, and other Stadium commentators, this 30-minute college-focused show airs weekdays live at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Stadium’s flagship, one-hour show, “The Rally,” airs live at 6 p.m., 11 p.m., and 1 a.m. ET. It showcases breaking sports news and exclusive insider information, in-progress highlights, live look-ins, the best viral videos, and expert opinions around the day’s biggest headlines.
No word yet on what teams from C-USA and Mountain West the network will feature. That will likely be announced after the 24/7 network launches in a few weeks.
